What is PGH2050?
PGH2050 is a long-term, citywide plan that will guide how Pittsburgh grows and evolves. It focuses on key priorities like housing, jobs, infrastructure, and mobility—while ensuring that development benefits all neighborhoods.
This is a historic effort—Pittsburgh has never created a single, comprehensive plan that considers all neighborhoods together.
Why Attend?
Community input is critical at this stage. Feedback gathered now will directly shape policies, investments, and priorities across the city.
By attending, residents can:
- Share ideas and concerns about their neighborhood
- Help guide future development and investment
- Ensure Northside perspectives are represented
- Be part of a plan designed to benefit everyone
What to Expect
This meeting is part of the “scenario planning” phase, where community feedback is being translated into real, actionable strategies. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and provide input that will help shape the final plan.
Why It Matters
Pittsburgh’s neighborhoods are deeply connected—what happens in one impacts others. This plan aims to ensure growth is thoughtful, equitable, and reflective of the people who live here.
