One Northside Education Committee Meeting - January 29, 2026

Northside Community Invited to Education Conversation on January 29

One Northside’s Education Committee is bringing neighbors together for a special Northside-focused education conversation on Thursday, January 29, from 6:00–7:30 PM at the Pittsburgh Presbytery’s Patrick Room, located at 901 Allegheny Avenue. This gathering offers residents an opportunity to stay informed, share their perspectives, and take action to support strong public schools across the Northside.

The event will feature an update on the Pittsburgh Public Schools facility utilization plan and revised timeline, providing clarity on the district’s ongoing planning process. Representatives from A+ Schools will also share data and insights on how Northside schools compare citywide, offering valuable context for families and community members. Following the presentations, attendees will participate in small-group discussions designed to elevate community voice and identify priorities for future action.

Neighbors of all backgrounds are encouraged to attend, whether they’re parents, caregivers, educators, or simply invested in the success of local students. Pizza and drinks will be provided, and parking is available in the designated Presbytery lot across the street. Anyone with questions may contact the One Northside team at ons@onenorthsidepgh.org.

Together, the Northside community continues to champion the belief that strong schools build strong neighborhoods. This event is an opportunity to learn, connect, and move forward with a shared commitment to supporting Northside students and families. Register today to secure your spot.
