Support our Northside Schools!
In Pittsburgh, some of the best programming for youth and families in the country is available in our non-profits and local governments. Yet schools with high rates of chronic absence, can’t always leverage these supports because they don’t have the capacity. That is why A+ Schools has established A to Z Funds to help schools build out plans that put these community resources to work for what the staff, students, and families need the most.
At Perry High School, A+ Schools has utilized A to Z Funds for a range of things, big and small, including attendance challenge rewards, transportation for field trips, and curriculum support through Northside-based arts organizations.
